In college I took an HTML class and really liked it. When I returned from my around the world adventures, I was compelled to design a website to convey what I had captured. After that website, I was asked to do another, and another and another. I really enjoy the creative aspect of web design. I tend towards simplistic layouts that are easily navigated. I have listed several websites that I have designed and published. If you are interested in getting a website started, send me an email and we can talk about what you can do to make that happen, even if you want to do it yourself. I do most of my design work in Dreamweaver CS3 with forays into Apple iWeb.
Mike is a great guy and a great photographer. I met him while teaching a photo workshop in the Great Smoky Mountains, and we have been talking photography ever since. I pretty much designed this site on my own, as Mike is very new to the digital age. I scanned slides for him and designed this site as a showcase for him to show potential clients. Ann is a wonderful and sweet lady who does a lot of good work around Little Rock. I met her at Arkansas Children's Hospital where she was charged with using art to help heal children. I designed this site as a simple showcase of her work, and it is still under construction. My parents purchased a log cabin in the Ozarks, very near my boyhood home. After much deliberation, they decided to turn it into a nightly cabin rental. Their prime avenue for exposure was to be the web, so it was important to design an impressive, concise and accurate site. Their cabin has been a runaway success, some of which they attribute to the website. |
